POSTER sessions open for Abstract submission
Poster presentations will be allocated a space in the Poster Area in the main Exhibition Hall where they can be viewed by all delegates at VACUUM EXPO. Abstracts are invited describing work related to any of the meeting topics. Posters must not exceed A0 portrait size (1189mm high x 841mm wide).
Poster authors should be in attendance at their Poster from 12.30pm to 1.30pm on the day(s) it is on display.
IOP Vacuum Group Poster Prize
The Vacuum Group is supporting the Poster Sessions through the award of a £50 prize and certificate on EACH day of the Conference – the prize may be shared if one or more Posters are judged to be of equal standard. The prize is open to all Poster presentations (except any submitted by Vacuum Group Committee members) and will be independently judged on both days for all Posters on display that day.
Posters will be judged on the basis of scientific content, effectiveness of communication and overall appearance. The prize will be awarded at 5.00pm on Wednesday 16th October, and at 1.30pm on Thursday 17th October – we hope that poster authors will be present at this time, but this is not essential.
