The Poster session took place over both days of VS12. Everyone attending this year’s event was invited to present a poster on work related to any of this year’s meeting topics or any aspect of vacuum in general.
This year the Vacuum Symposium Poster Prizes (£100 and certificate) were sponsored by the VS Platinum Sponsor.
Posters are judged on the basis of scientific content, effectiveness of communication and overall appearance.
2023 Poster Prize
The prize was awarded to Benzi John, Scientific Computing Department, STFC Daresbury Laboratory, who with colleagues, presented ‘Numerical Investigation of Space Charge Compensation of ISIS H– Ion Sources’.
