“Vacuum and Plasmas for Industry”
essential
ingredients for manufacturing success
Wednesday 17th October 2012
Day One of
the 3rd Vacuum Symposium to be
held
at
The Ricoh Arena Coventry
-
Many plasma and ion associated processes, require a
vacuum environment before process gas is admitted. The
degree or range of vacuum depends on the production
process and often affects the resulting product.
-
Contamination and cleanliness are becoming more and more
important issues within industrial processes to avoid
rejects and ensure maximum yield.
-
This meeting will attempt to cover the wide spectrum of
industries that require plasma and vacuum processing and
the importance and requirements of vacuum for
manufacturing success.
The industries that could benefit from this meeting include:
Automotive and Aeronautical Industries, Surface Coatings and
Surface Engineering companies, the
Chemical Industry, Food, Medical and Textile
suppliers, the Pharmaceutical and Semiconductor Industries,
Surface Analysis Instrument suppliers and users, Heat
Treatment Companies and Waste Disposal firms.
The speakers of a selected number of these topics will
